Outpatient
The adult Intensive Outpatient Program is designed for adults 18 years or older who are in need of further symptom stabilization but do not require the structure of a Partial Hospitalization Program. Participants typically attend IOP three days per week, for three groups per day. At Sierra Vista Hospital, scheduling is arranged to best suit the participants therapeutic needs.
Treatment consists of:
- Individual treatment Planning
- Psychiatric Assessments and Medication Management
- Individual Therapy as needed
- Process Group Therapy and Peer Support
- Dual Diagnosis Group Therapy (psychiatric and substance abuse)
- Adult Education and Life Skills
- Family Meetings
- Discharge Planning
- Community Referrals
- Transportation to and from treatment is available for those clients in the Sacramento area.
Enrollment
Patients may enroll in the program directly or begin immediately after hospitalization.
Program hours
The program operates Monday through Friday from 9 a.m. to 12:00 p.m.
